Can I put my Mizu in the microwave?
No. Don't put any of the stainless steel products in the microwave.
Can I put my Mizu in the freezer?
No. The force of liquids expanding as they freeze can cause your Mizu to become deformed and can also break the weld that holds the bottle together, so we strongly advise against it.
How should I clean my Mizu?
Hand wash them soapy water and a bottlebrush to extend the life of your container’s paint/graphic. drain and dry in your dish rack with the mouth downward so water can drain out. For thorough cleaning, you can use warm, soapy water and a bottle brush. We also recommend an old-fashioned cleaner: diluted vinegar or water and baking soda. Do not scour the surface of your Mizu containers with steel wool or other abrasive products; it will scratch the stainless steel.
Can I fill my Mizu with acidic beverages, milk, or alcohol?
Yes! Mizu is food-grade stainless steel – so you can fill your Mizu with any of your favorite beverages.
How long do the Everyday Filters & Adventure Purifiers last? Do they have an expiration date?
Both the Mizu Everyday Filter and Adventure Purifier have a lifespan of 40 gallons, which is equivalent to over 300 single use plastic bottles. As long as they are stored in a safe, dry environment and you allow them to dry after use, they do not expire. What’s up with bottles made out of aluminum?
Aluminum is an amazing material for many applications, but has no place in the food beverage industry. All aluminum containers, from reusable water bottles to beer cans, are spray coated with a thin film to stop the transfer of deadly toxins from the materials to the food or beverage. Many of these coatings contain other harmful toxins such as BPA. The commercial food industry has had it right for many years – Stainless steel is the only metal alloy that should be in contact with our food and beverages.
Why stainless steel?
All stainless steel is not created equal. Mizu uses only the highest quality 18/8 food grade stainless steel, meaning our steel has 18% chromium and 8% nickel. This perfectly balanced mixture leaves no metal taste and is the same material found in most commercial kitchens today because it is durable, easy-to-clean and corrosion resistant. Stainless steel is a safe healthy option because chemicals will not migrate to foods and beverages – not so for plastic or aluminum. It’s also a great material in terms of its footprint on the environment: steel is the world’s #1 recycled material (other than precious metals) with roughly 25% of all steel today coming from recycled sources.
Do Mizu products contain BPA?
No. Every Mizu ever made is totally free of BPA and other harmful substances. We chose 18/8, food-grade stainless steel and Glass instead of aluminum or plastic because the metal is inherently safe and toxin-free. Stainless steel is made of many elements and minerals that come from the earth, including some of the very same minerals recommended by the FDA as part of a healthy human diet. Food-grade stainless steel is used in the brewing, food and winemaking industries too. It's the material of choice because it doesn't retain or impart flavors.
Does the paint on Mizu products contain lead?
No! When we introduced our painted bottles, we wanted to find a safe and durable paint that also looks fantastic. We reviewed and tested dozens of different paints and selected an acrylic paint that contains no toxins or lead. We test the paint regularly and though it is safe, we recommend the Brushed Stainless finish bottles for small children who like to chew on things.
Do the Everyday Filter and Adventure Purifier remove fluoride?
We did not test the Everyday Filter and Adventure Purifier for fluoride removal, so we cannot guarantee the removal of this contaminant. To see what contaminants it does remove, check out the 360 Technology.
How do I stop my Mizu Coffee Lid from leaking?
Your coffee lid is most likely not broken! This video will demonstrate a few common causes of a leaky Mizu Coffee Lid. What does vacuum insulated mean?
Mizu’s V Series, V Wide Series, and Tumblers are double walled and vacuum-sealed. This process creates an airtight chamber between two walls of stainless steel: the double wall creates the chamber and the vacuum seal ensures that it is airtight. The barrier creates a protective layer between the outside world and the inside contents so drinks stay hot for up to 12 hours or cold for up to 24 hours.

What if I have a warranty issue?
All warranty claims must be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org We will need you to includes a photo that clearly shows the problem and original retail receipt. Returns take approximately 7-10 business days to process and do require a return Authorization Form (if applicable). Return Authorization Forms are issued by email after we receive a request for exchange/return. The Lifetime Warranty is valid only to the original purchaser.
Does Mizu have a lifetime warranty?
YES. Our limited Lifetime warranty covers all manufacturer’s defects for as long as own your Mizu bottle. Scratches and dents from dropping or normal use do not affect the use or safety of the bottle, but do not qualify for warranty. Paint and graphics are under a one-year warranty if hand washed. ** NOTE – our warranty only applies to bottles and cups purchased an Authorized Mizu Dealer or our website.

• Do not put your Mizu container in the dishwasher. This can possibly start affecting the paint or the graphics due the extreme heat

I received a wrong product or I'm missing a product. How should I proceed?
If you received a wrong product in your shipment, or are missing something from your order, please contact direct at email@example.com To expedite a resolution, please indicate your web order number as well as the item that was shipped in error or was missing from your order. We will process a replacement shipment and provide return instructions if applicable as soon as possible.
How do I return an order?
If you purchased or received a product directly from www.mizulife.com and would like to return or exchange it within 30 days, we can issue you a refund or web-store credit for exchange. Returned good must be in perfect, unused condition and must be made within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, we will not accept returns for any reasons other than manufacturer defect. If you purchased your product from a retail store or a website other than www.mizulife.com, please go directly to the original place of purchase.

Why isn't the $50 free shipping applying to my order?
If you applied a discount code that dropped your order total below $50, you unfortunately don't qualify for free shipping. Or, you may have entered a shipping address outside the continental United States.
Who should I contact if my order never arrived?

How do I change quantities, cancel an item, or cancel my order?
Once you order is submitted, it will automatically go to our warehouse. So if you want to change something quickly, please send an email to email@example.com and we will do our best to make the requested changes.
Has my order shipped and how do I track my order?
Once you have placed the order you will get a confirmation email with the tracking information, so that you can track your order via FedEx anytime.
What price breaks are there for big orders?
We love it when our customers go BIG! Base pricing starts at our minimum 48 unit orders and we provide price breaks at 120 units, 504 units, 1,008 units and beyond!! Don't be afraid to shoot for the moon, we have the ability to produce large volume orders.
What kind of printing processes do you use for custom products?
We love a challenge! If you can dream it, we can achieve it... our printing facility is state-of-the-art and utilizes the newest in printing technology on all Mizu products. Screen print, UV ink, pad print, heat transfer, laser etch, etc etc. We have it all!
What Mizu products can I customize?
All products in the Mizu product portfolio can be customized. From our M Series to V Series to Cups, Mugs, and Shot Glasses... we have something for everyone!
Do custom orders come with a warranty?
We stand by our product 100%...if there is a manufacturers defect or issue with your custom Mizu, outside of normal wear and tear, we will take care of you! Simply email firstname.lastname@example.org and explain your issue.
How will I give final approval of my Mizu design?
Before moving to production of your Mizu custom, we will send you a detailed email that will allow you to give final approval of artwork/design before we start producing your Mizu. This is to serve as the final opportunity to change your design.
Do I have to design my own Mizu product?
We are happy to have our creative team design your artwork if you don't have the capability to do so yourself. Once we receive your vector (.ai or .eps) artwork and some creative direction, our team will create a mock up of your custom product for approval. We allow for 1-2 round of reviews to dial in your design!If you do have a design team at your disposal, we are happy to send product templates for your team to create the ideal Mizu for your custom project.
Are there set up fees associated with custom Mizu products?
Yes. We have a small set up fee associated with custom product that varies dependent upon the size of your order. All of this will be explained in detail upon completing your custom inquiry form and connecting wtih Mizu home office or your local Mizu rep.
Where are custom Mizu products printed?
Custom Mizu products ship from one of our two printers located in Southern California and Washington. We are happy to provide the most competitive shipping rate possible, or use your FedEx/UPS shipping account info.
What is the pricing for a custom Mizu order?
Mizu is proud to offer some of the most competitively priced custom products in the hydration market. The question of pricing depends on a few factors, including: quantity (48 unit minimum), number of colors in your artwork, and the style of Mizu product. We are happy to share our pricing matrix with you upon completion and submisison of the custom inquiry form.
Can I mix and match colors in my custom Mizu order?
Yes! As long as your order total meets our 48 unit minimum per style of product (48 M8's or 48 V12's etc etc), you are more than welcome to request various bottle colors within your total order. This is only limited by inventory availability.
How long will it take to get my custom order?
Upon the submission of your completed order form, the lead time for custom product completion is 3-5 weeks. Be sure to fill out all necessary areas of your order form, including: shipping address, billing address, product type/quantity, artwork confirmation and payment information.
What is the minimum order for custom Mizu products?
The minimum unit requirement for custom Mizu products is 48 units.
