Todd Glaser is a San Diego-born photographer, surfer, and waterman. A SURFER Staff Photographer for over a decade, Glaser is prolific for his young age, earning more than a dozen covers during his tenure at the magazine. Equally talented shooting land, water, and lifestyle photography, his work has also appeared in The New York Times, Outside, Men’s Health, GQ and the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery, in Washington DC. When he isn’t globetrotting chasing swells, treading water shooting in the tropics, or capturing images of the first wave ever ridden at Kelly Slater’s Surf Ranch, Glaser can be found riding waves around his home, riding his bike, and enjoying the company of his wife, Jenna.

"I have been an artist ever since I could hold a crayon. I couldn't imagine doing anything else as I grew up and it became very clear to me that I was going to be creating art, design and murals as my career. Sure, I didn't try anything else really, but I had no desire to. The creative bug was in me for good. While my subject matter switches between figurative work, paintings, surrealism and ocean inspired art and graphic design... the story remains the same. Creating. It's my outlet, it's my passion... and it's my job."
"I credit the origin of my environmental concern to my exposure to the contrasting landscapes of grave pollution and radical natural beauty in Mexico. I wanted to protect the natural world from human destruction and, one day, I wanted to be the captain of my own sailboat." - Liz's Blog swellvoyage.com
Only 17 years old, Max Beach is already a well-traveled surfer with great taste in music and a passion for protecting where he plays. Raised in a surfing family just steps from some of San Clemente’s best surf breaks, Max has most recently been seen ripping on Hawaii’s North Shore, Fiji’s Cloudbreak, and breaking boundaries at surf competitions across the US.After witnessing the enormity of the plastic pollution problem during his travels, Max made it a personal commitment to reduce single-use plastic products wherever he can. This alone makes him a perfect fit for the Mizu Family, but how he sees the ocean also impressed us. “The ocean is a place for me to escape and have fun. There is no one in charge, not you, not anyone. The ocean is in control and treats everyone the same”.
